Graduation ceremony at the Ecclesia Group
Detmold. 20 trainees have successfully passed their final exams at the Ecclesia Group in 2023: 18 insurance and finance clerks and two IT specialists. Among them are Ann-Kathrin Bracht, Lydia Töws and Sven Krause, who are also the best in the Lippe Chamber of Commerce and Industry. With the completion of their training, they are all entering a new phase in their careers. The young professionals will be taken on by the Ecclesia Group in 2023; six of them will continue their dual studies and will enter a mentoring program upon completion of their training.
“Training for our own needs is part of the corporate group's identity. Especially in times of a shortage of skilled workers, training our own junior staff is becoming increasingly important,” explains Pia Stohlmann, HR manager at Ecclesia. Together with Philipp Brunsiek, she has accompanied the trainees for the last three years and is pleased that many of them are staying with the Ecclesia Group: “The trainees are highly qualified specialists who are very familiar with the work of an insurance broker. They know the processes in the company and are very well networked. This makes them an integral part of our Ecclesia team.”
As a member of the management board of the Ecclesia Group, Carsten Stracke congratulates the graduates on their successful completion of their training. He praised their achievements during their training and thanked them for the commitment they have shown. With the diverse perspectives offered by the Ecclesia Group, all doors are open to the graduates. Carsten Stracke wishes the young professionals every success in their careers.

Training at the Ecclesia Group
Every year, around 40 young people start an apprenticeship or a dual study program at the group of companies. Six apprenticeships and three dual study programs are offered in cooperation with universities in Cologne, Dortmund, Bielefeld and Hagen.
The Ecclesia Group currently employs 96 apprentices and dual students throughout Germany. Next year, the group will significantly increase the number of apprenticeships and study places.
