Christopher Krahforst takes over as head of the Ecclesia Group's claims department

Detmold – Christopher Krahforst will take over as head of the claims department of the Ecclesia Group on January 1, 2025. The 44-year-old is moving from ERGO Versicherung AG to Germany's largest insurance broker for companies and institutions. Since 2015, Christopher Krahforst has been responsible for commercial and industrial property insurance business at ERGO as divisional manager. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic development of the business areas, optimizes underwriting and operational processes, and is also responsible for the settlement of major property claims.

“Christopher Krahforst has extensive management experience in the commercial and industrial property sector as well as in-depth knowledge of the process and organisational structure of claims functions. These qualifications are of great importance for the future of the Ecclesia Group. Thomas Primnitz, the current head of the claims department, will leave the group at his own request at the end of 2024. He joined the Ecclesia Group at the beginning of 2019 and initially served as managing director of Ecclesia Gruppe Assekuranz Service GmbH (EGAS) for four years. In this position, Thomas Primnitz did fundamental development work and set the course for the further expansion of the company in terms of processes and organization. At the beginning of 2023, he took over the current Claims department, where he has successfully driven forward the digitalization and automation of claims control and processing in particular. “I would like to thank Thomas Primnitz for his outstanding work and his great loyalty to our group of companies, and I look forward to continuing to work with him in the remaining months,” says Denny Tesch.
