Ecclesia Group bundles cyber expertise
Detmold. The companies of the Ecclesia Group are combining their activities in the field of cyber insurance and cyber risk management under the Ecclesia Cyber brand. Ecclesia Cyber stands for comprehensive security solutions, permanently optimal coverage concepts and all-round support for customers in the event of a claim - from acute crisis management to settlement by the insurer.
Under the new umbrella brand, the existing cyber teams from all areas of the Ecclesia Group, from industry to health and social services, will work closely together in the future. Ecclesia Cyber is thus a highly specialized unit that ideally combines the respective industry expertise and specialist knowledge in the individual group companies with the purchasing power of the largest German insurance broker for companies and institutions. “With this combination of market power and know-how, we ensure optimal customer benefit even in the challenging cyber market of the future,” emphasizes Ecclesia CEO Jochen Körner, adding: ”A large proportion of our customers are part of the critical infrastructure. This includes the logistics industry as well as healthcare and waste disposal. We take our responsibility seriously and, by bundling our cyber activities, we are optimizing the protection of these sensitive sectors of the economy.”
For customers, little will change on the surface. The familiar teams will continue to work for them under the familiar brands. However, customers will benefit even more than before from the joint presence in the insurance market and from the combined expertise in consulting, risk dialog, contract management and claims processing. They will also have access to a broad, insurer-independent partner network. In addition, crisis specialists, PR experts and other specialists are available. Cyber insurance specialist Robert Drexler will be the central point of contact for insurers.
