Ecclesia Group celebrates graduation
Detmold – In times of a shortage of skilled workers, the Ecclesia Group continues to successfully rely on training and studying its own junior staff. This year, 24 graduates in various fields are successfully completing their training at Germany's largest insurance broker for companies and institutions. They will all be taken on by the group. Ecclesia is further increasing the number of its trainees with the coming year.
Among the 24 graduates are 15 insurance and financial investment clerks, two marketing communication clerks and two IT specialists. In addition, four junior employees have successfully completed their training as part of their dual studies in insurance and another in dual studies in business informatics. The bachelor's degree will follow next year.
“As the Ecclesia Group, we attach great importance to training primarily for our own needs. That is why we are pleased to be able to take on all this year's graduates,” says Pia Marie Stohlmann, who is jointly responsible for training in the Ecclesia Group. Especially in times of a shortage of skilled workers, training is becoming even more important: ”Our graduates are not only highly qualified. They are already well networked and know the processes and working methods of our group of companies. This makes them a great asset for Ecclesia.”
At the graduation ceremony, Birgit Aspin, Chief People Officer and member of the management board, also congratulated the graduates personally and welcomed them to the Ecclesia team. She expressed her particular thanks for the impressive commitment and outstanding performance of the young professionals. Due to the diversity of the group, there are now numerous different opportunities for professional and personal development. For example, some of the new colleagues in the Ecclesia Group are taking up an internal career program, a part-time or even a full-time course of study to further their education. Even in the case of full-time study, they remain with the group as working students.

Training at the Ecclesia Group
Every year, almost 50 young people start an apprenticeship or dual study program with the group. Six apprenticeships and three dual study programs are offered in cooperation with universities in Cologne, Dortmund, Bielefeld and Hagen.
As of August, the Ecclesia Group will employ 137 apprentices and dual students throughout Germany. Next year, the group will again increase the number of apprenticeships and study places.
