Detmold. The Ecclesia Group Assekuranz-Service GmbH (EGAS) is expanding its Market & Products division with the aim of further promoting the development of new and alternative insurance solutions and services. This is also associated with an even stronger integration of EGAS into the complete value chain of the Ecclesia Group, so that new and existing customers will have access to an even more valuable service portfolio in the future. Tim Brozio has been appointed to the management of EGAS alongside Miriam Stüldt-Borsetzky to ensure consistent implementation of the strategy.

Since 2013, EGAS has successfully served as a link between insurers and brokers of the Ecclesia Group. Now the company is to push ahead with its own product development.

“In everything we do, we always have our customers and their benefit in mind,” says Jochen Körner, CEO of the Ecclesia Group. ”The realignment of EGAS and the expansion of its range of services is an important element in our strategy of extending our value chain and offering our customers even better insurance solutions with the associated services.”

As an underwriting agent, EGAS works closely with insurers, brokers and customers. All parties already benefit from EGAS's expertise. The realignment is based on this knowledge and these skills. “The underwriting agent powers, together with the broker's claims department, allow us to settle claims quickly and easily in our own way,” explains EGAS managing director Miriam Stüldt-Borsetzky. “In particular, our approach, which is geared towards a high level of expertise and strong communication skills, benefits everyone involved, whether they are customers, brokers or insurers. Because we delve deeply into the subject matter, we also recognize connections and identify potential for improvement in processes and products, which we want to use even more systematically in the future.”

Tim Brozio, who will take up his position as second managing director of EGAS on September 1, 2023, adds: “We will supplement the insights gained with regular market observations and data analyses in order to sustainably strengthen product development in the interest of customers”.

While Tim Brozio will focus on the market and products, Miriam Stüldt-Borsetzky will primarily take care of the claims areas of EGAS. Miriam Stüldt-Borsetzky is a fully qualified lawyer specializing in medical law and has held various specialist and management positions at Ecclesia since 2009. Tim Brozio is a business lawyer (LL.M.) and has held various management positions at Ecclesia since 2013, with a focus on product management.
