SCHUNCK Austria takes over GrECo
Vienna/Munich (ecc). The SCHUNCK GROUP, which belongs to the Ecclesia Group, is working with GrECo International AG to set the course for the future of the Vienna-based SCHUNCK GROUP Austria. GrECo acquired 100 percent of the shares in the Austrian SCHUNCK subsidiary on August 17, 2022.
“I know the management from my work on the supervisory board of GrECo International Holding AG and I am convinced that we have found the right partner for the future for the customers and employees of SCHUNCK GROUP Austria. This will also strengthen our operational cooperation with GrECo,” emphasizes Jochen Körner, CEO of the Ecclesia Group. The Ecclesia Group is a shareholder of GrECo International Holding AG with a minority interest.
“With GrECo as the market leader in Austria, we have the perfect combination to offer our customers even better service,” adds Richard Renner, Managing Director of the SCHUNCK GROUP. ‘The local management team around Michael Hauswirth and the employees can optimally contribute their strengths and know-how.’ The SCHUNCK GROUP Austria has its headquarters in Vienna and branches in Innsbruck and Budapest. The company focuses on customers in the transport and logistics industry. All employees will be taken over by GrECo.
