The Ecclesia Group commissions Lade.Zeit as general contractor for charging infrastructure
Detmold/Vlotho – The Ecclesia Group, Germany's largest insurance broker for companies and institutions, headquartered in Detmold, has appointed charging infrastructure specialist Lade.ZEIT as its exclusive partner for the development and conversion of customer-side and company-wide requirements for electric charging infrastructure. The Competence Center Ecclesia Mobility, the Ecclesia Group's mobility expert, initiated the commissioning of the general contractor from Vlotho to oversee all planning, implementation and maintenance activities in this area in Germany. Both companies signed a corresponding agreement on June 16, 2024.
“Our so-called motor vehicle ecosystem encompasses the entire range of corporate mobility. This also includes a uniform concept for the electrification of fleets, with which we professionally support fleet managers in converting their fleets. With Lade.ZEIT, we have found an experienced partner to effectively implement our ambitions operationally and expand them strategically,” explained Johanna Brinkmann, head of the Ecclesia Mobility Competence Center, at the start of the cooperation.
“The switch to e-mobility is proving to be a complex process for many companies. New vehicles have to be procured and charging stations have to be built, but driving profiles also have to be analyzed, energy requirements calculated, purchases optimized and resources saved. We are very pleased that the Ecclesia Group is taking our 360-degree approach as an opportunity to commission us as a general contractor,” commented Marvin Beccard, managing director of Lade.ZEIT GmbH.
The Ecclesia Group's customers include many clinics, nursing services, workshops for the disabled and church institutions. The majority of their employees depend on small vehicles with a high short-distance requirement. When it comes to sustainable mobility, the focus is therefore on affordable procurement, the development of an individual charging infrastructure, digital processing and holistic energy management.
