TÜV Rheinland cooperates with Ecclesia Credit
Cologne. Inflation, supply chain problems, rising raw material and energy costs, geopolitical crises: the dynamics and unpredictability of markets are currently the greatest challenges in credit management – a company's debtor and receivables management. A qualified risk assessment and planned solutions help to systematically overcome such challenges. TÜV Rheinland is now cooperating with the Ecclesia Group to support companies in this area. The common goal: to further develop the process quality in the credit management of companies in order to optimize their liquidity and reduce the risk of bad debts.
As part of the cooperation, the experienced specialists from TÜV Rheinland audit the credit management of companies to determine the current status and support its continuous further development. The target group here is in particular small and medium-sized companies.
Certified credit management as a competitive advantage
“With good credit management, companies can see how their liquidity and bad debt risks are doing – from order to payment,” says Horst Döller, project manager for Credit Management Certification at TÜV Rheinland. ”This enables companies to take timely action to prevent increasing risks.” If the requirements of the TÜV Rheinland Credit Management Certification standard are met, companies can have their credit management certified. “Certification provides evidence of continuous further development of processes and their quality to customers, business partners, auditors, lenders or even internal stakeholders,” explains Horst Döller.
As part of its collaboration with TÜV Rheinland, Ecclesia Credit, part of the Ecclesia Group, the largest German insurance broker for companies and institutions, provides a team of more than 60 specialists for qualified credit management, which advises the audited companies on the further development of their processes. “After successfully launching our credit management software, the Ecclesia Trade Credit Manager (ETCM), last year, cooperation with TÜV Rheinland is the next logical step for us. We want to support our customers in credit management processes comprehensively. External auditing and certification by TÜV Rheinland rounds off our range,” explains Markus Moritz, who shares overall responsibility for Ecclesia Credit with Jörg Kowalewski. As a result of the cooperation, customers of the Ecclesia Group now benefit from favorable general conditions that both companies have agreed on.
