Future-proof risk management - mastering the challenges of tomorrow

On April 24, 2024, risk management experts from various industries will gather at the Ecclesia Symposium in Cologne to report on their success stories in their daily dealings with risks. It quickly becomes clear that risks know no boundaries and that companies in every industry are affected. Numerous analogies can also be found in risk management. Looking beyond the confines of one's own industry reveals new perspectives and solutions for one's own risk management.

Learning from each other

Holger Wendorff, co-initiator and managing director of deas, says: “The mindset and the strategies used by most risk managers are basically the same. This means that hospitals can learn from the chemical industry, logistics from the church and vice versa in these subject areas.” Dr. Peter Gausmann, initiator of the Ecclesia Symposium and risk management expert at the Ecclesia Group, adds: “Thanks to our diverse customer groups at Ecclesia, we know what risks exist in the various industries and are familiar with the numerous analogies in risk management. At the Ecclesia Symposium, we want to share this knowledge with our customers. We want to offer them the opportunity to benefit from best practices in building a sustainable safety culture.” Participants can transfer the insights from the different industries to their own risk management. ”Balance sheet protection, making risk transfer manageable and affordable, loss prevention and reducing the number and amount of claims are the objectives of all sectors of the economy, but also of the insurance industry. With this in mind, we invite deas customers and target customers to this high-quality symposium to discuss new standards, new tools and current experiences in risk management,” continues Holger Wendorff. The Ecclesia Symposium offers a unique platform in Germany for rethinking risk management, developing future-proof strategies and, above all, learning from each other.
