The inorganic growth creates the opportunity to respond flexibly to customer requests by adding more staff. “We have been working together with pension solutions for years in a trusting relationship and now we can also fall back on their personnel capacities,” says the managing director. This means that customers can be offered even more comprehensive advice and more flexibility when making appointments. This is where digitization brings further advantages: employees of client companies can now not only conveniently book their appointments online, but the meetings themselves are also offered digitally. “We want to create a good consulting situation,” explains the pension expert.
Paperless administration: no more paperwork
In general, the topic of digitization is playing an increasingly important role in the pension sector: instead of sending forms back and forth, the Ecclesia Group offers its customers a digital exchange portal where they can enter direct reports and upload files. ”This enables us to check documents and forward them to the appropriate insurer much faster. Ideally, with the help of straight-through processing, the insurance certificate for the desired coverage for each employee is available within one working day. In the analog world, this process, from the initial consultation to the presentation of the insurance policy, took two to three weeks,” says Dirk Dettbarn. The employer can then store the documents directly in the digital personnel file, thus putting an end to the paper chase.
Support with a communication concept
The pension team offers customers various modules. “Employers agree with us on the packages they would like to offer their employees on a voluntary basis,” says Dirk Dettbarn. In addition, the Ecclesia Group provides a sophisticated communication concept that includes, for example, the provision of documents for the intranet, a landing page for the customer or even posters for the canteen door.
